This scheme will train one thousand widows aged between 20 and 45 and their youths aged 18-22 to become General Duties Assistants in healthcare – enabling them to

• Provide efficient support to medical teams
• Deliver compassionate patient care
• Respond to emergencies
• Uphold standards in hygiene and infection control

Trained GDAs will be empowered not only to be self-sufficient but to become role models in their community, with the opportunity to access long-term career development in the healthcare sector.

The cost of training a single beneficiary is Rs. 5,000, but any donation you make under this scheme will be matched by The Loomba Foundation, thus doubling your impact.
