Till date, The Loomba Foundation has educated over 10,000 children of poor widows and supported over 60,000 of their family members across 29 states in India. We provide poor widows a two-months training in tailoring and a foot operated sewing machine on successful completion of the course, to help them support their family through dignified livelihood. India has more than 46 million widows and every small and big donation helps us break the cycle of poverty set in train by widowhood. Please support for this marginalized cause generously.

We are delighted that the Lions Clubs International Foundation has become partners with the Loomba Foundation. They will be supporting our sewing machine project for 3,000 widows on a 1:2:4 basis. This means that the Loomba Foundation will pay 25% which will be matched by Lions Clubs in London and the total amount will be matched by Lions Clubs International Foundation. We are hoping to start this partnership project in Vrindavan, Mathura and Agra - a city famous worldwide for the Taj Mahal in India
