Register for our 5k Charity Walk/Run in Hyde Park

On the 23rd of June, The Loomba Foundation will be holding its inaugural charity walk/run in the world famous Hyde Park in London.

All money raised will go to support the work of The Loomba Foundation to help widows and their children around the world.

The course will be 5k, around the Serpentine in the centre of Hyde Park, and a VIP walk of the route will take place simultaneously. The President of the Loomba Foundation, Mrs Cherie Blair, will be starting the proceedings, and we expect several more well-known guests on the day.

Matt Roberts, one of the UK’s leading personal trainers, will be providing all race participants with a series of detailed training programmes and training advice to ensure they’re fully prepared for the 23rd June. Every participant will also be offered an exclusive training package at the Matt Roberts group of luxury gyms in Mayfair, Hampstead, Chelsea and the City.

To register, please go to our dedicated registration site: The Loomba Foundation 5k

Programme for the day:

With less than two weeks to go before the big day we wanted to let you know all the important information about where to go, when to get there, and the best way to get there!

Timings

Registration opens at 8.30am. Please come to the registration area to let us know you’ve arrived, pick up your t-shirt to wear round the course, and receive your wristband which will let you know which wave you will be setting off in. PLEASE AIM TO ARRIVE BY 9.30am AT THE VERY LATEST. Water will be provided around the course and at the end.

The first wave of runners will commence at 10am, followed by other runners and walkers in subsequent waves. All participants should expect to be finished by around 11.30am.

When you have completed the walk or run, you will receive a medal and a £5 picnic voucher to be redeemed at the dedicated refreshments for cold food. Hot food options will also be available to purchase.

Location

The run/walk takes place around the picturesque Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park. The start and finish lines are located in the south of the park, to the south of the Diana Memorial fountain, east of the tennis courts, and north of the barracks.
